Introduction π
You can integrate popular CRMs like HubSpot with fynk for faster document creation. fynk can automatically pull the data from HubSpot to save you time and effort. To connect HubSpot to fynk, follow the simple steps we have outlined for you.
π‘Prerequisites:
You must be a super admin π¦ΈββοΈ to access private apps in your HubSpot account.
You must have the "Owner" πββοΈ or "Admin" π¨βπ» role in fynk to access the integration section.
1. Create a Private App in HubSpot
Log into your HubSpot account
Go to Settings > Private Apps
Click Create a Private App
Give your app a name (optional: upload a logo and description)
βSelect the necessary scopes (for CRM data access)
π‘CRM scopes allow your integration to interact with specific parts of your HubSpot CRM, ensuring that fynk can access, modify, or sync data for seamless document creation and automation.

Example: If your required data is stored in the opportunities, you should add opportunities to the scope.
2. Generate an Access Token
Alternatively, you can find the token by navigating to the Auth section of the newly created private app in HubSpot.

3. Connect HubSpot to fynk
In fynk, go to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot (only accessible to users with "Owner" or "Admin" role)
Click Add Integration
Paste your Access Token and optionally enable Show activity properties
Click Save β and you're done! π
You can now access the integration in any template via the Document Sidebar > Data Mapping tab.

π Use CRM Fields in Templates
1. Create or Edit a Template
In fynk, go to Templates and either Create New or edit an existing one.

2. Add & Link Dynamic Fields and Parties to CRM Data
Open the Data Mapping tab in the sidebar
Select HubSpot as the source and map your fields (e.g., Contacts, Companies, Deals)
You can select a document name, otherwise the template name will be set automatically
Not all fields are always visible, depending on the selected data source (Contracts, Companies, Deals etc.)
In the Parties tab, link CRM contacts or companies as parties

3. Add Metadata (Optional)
Link metadata to CRM fields in the Metadata tab for exports and reporting purposes. This helps you map the data for external use when exporting documents, as well as when creating reports and analyses.
π§Ύ Generate Documents with HubSpot Data
You can create documents that automatically pull customer-specific data directly from HubSpot once your template is set up with the appropriate data fields.
Go to Documents > Create New
Choose a HubSpot-linked template
Enter the relevant HubSpot object name
Click Create Document β fynk will pull in the data automatically
π Refresh CRM Data
In the General Settings tab of the document sidebar, click Reload Data to fetch the latest values from HubSpot.
