Introduction 👋

Want to make sure you never miss a deadline again and always have your most important contract details at a glance?
With dashboards in fynk, you get a clear and visual overview of your data – structured, flexible, and fully customizable.

Your Dashboard 📊

When you first open your dashboard, it may look a little empty – but don’t worry, that will change quickly! 😁 As soon as you upload documents, relevant information such as deadlines, KPIs, or contract values will be displayed. Whether it's a graph, figure, or timeline – you'll immediately see what matters.

Customize your Dashboard 🛠️

Not all data is equally relevant for every team. That’s why fynk lets you tailor your dashboard to your specific needs.

Just click on the [pencil] icon in the dashboard to enter edit mode and rearrange your dashboard however you like.

Predefined Widgets

Widgets are small information blocks that help structure your dashboard.

➡️ Simply drag and drop predefined widgets onto your dashboard, such as:

  • Upcoming deadlines

  • Contract status overviews

  • Key metrics and values

You can rearrange them freely, remove unnecessary widgets, and apply filters to highlight specific data.

Use Filters – for Maximum Relevance ✨

Your dashboard is already powerful – but with the right filters, it becomes truly insightful! Filters allow you to fine-tune what’s shown, so you and your team only see what really matters.

Here’s an overview of the available filtering options:

🔄 Phases

Choose which document phase(s) should be displayed:

Draft, Review, Signature, or Signed.

This way, you can instantly see which contracts are awaiting approval, for example.

👥 Teams

Want to view only documents related to a specific team?

Just select the relevant team and the dashboard will update accordingly.

🏷️ Tags

Use tags to narrow down your view even more:

  • Show only documents with certain tags

  • Choose whether all or just some of the selected tags must apply

  • You can also exclude tags to hide irrelevant documents

📄 Contract Types

Focus on specific contract types – like employment contracts, rental agreements, or NDAs. Select exactly what’s relevant to your use case.

Creation Date

Want to see documents created within a specific timeframe?

Select your desired range – or choose "no time limit" if it doesn’t matter for your filter.

🎯 Real-Life Example

Let’s say you want to create a clear HR dashboard showing only signed employment contracts from this year. Set the filters as follows:

  • Phase: Signed

  • Team: HR

  • Tags: Contract, Employee

  • Contract Type: Employment Contract

  • Creation Date: This year

And voilà – your team sees exactly what they need. Clear, focused, efficient.

Custom Widgets

Need even more flexibility?
Then custom widgets are your go-to option to display tailored information.

➡️ Here’s how it works:

  1. Drag a custom widget onto your dashboard

  2. Save the changes

  3. Configure it to your needs – for example, based on specific metadata, document types, or deadlines

Create Additional Dashboards

Depending on your role or department, it can make sense to work with multiple dashboards. In fynk, you can choose from three types:

  • Personal Dashboard
Visible only to you. Shows data for documents you are involved in.

  • Account Dashboard
Visible to all account owners. Includes data from the entire account, across all teams.

  • Team Dashboard
Visible to all team members. Displays only documents associated with that team.

💡 Tip: It can be helpful to create different dashboards based on team needs or use cases. Talk to your colleagues to find out what’s relevant for them.

Examples:

  • HR Team: A team dashboard with widgets for termination periods, salaries, or probation times.

  • Management: An account dashboard with KPIs like contract values, durations, and clause risks.
