What is the new metering view?
Under Account Settings, you can now see a live breakdown of your organization's AI usage: how much you've used so far, measured against the credits included in your current subscription tier, alongside your active seat count.
This is purely informational today. There's no limit you can hit and no charge tied to it yet.
How credit allocation is shaping up
We're still finalizing the exact mechanics ahead of the Q3 launch, but the direction is: every seat is expected to come with a credit allowance based on your subscription tier, pooled across your whole organization so your heaviest AI users aren't capped by what a single seat gets. We'll publish exact numbers and terms here once they're locked in.
Top-up credits
For organizations that need more flexibility than their base allocation, we will offer credit top-ups. The goal is to let you scale AI usage to your actual needs rather than forcing a plan upgrade.
What's changing: AI usage-based pricing (end of Q3)
Starting end of Q3, fynk's AI features move to usage-based billing. This will be outcome-driven: you're charged for credits only when fynk has delivered value, not simply for model activity that didn't produce a usable result.
For existing customers
All AI features you're currently using will remain free of charge for the rest of your existing contract term.
Features currently in beta are the exception and may begin billing sooner than general-availability features.
Why we're doing this
As more AI features ship, usage-based, outcome-driven pricing is how we keep things fair across every tier, so customers pay for value delivered, not just activity.
