Connect Pipedrive with fynk

You can easily integrate Pipedrive with fynk to use CRM data directly in your documents and templates.

πŸ’‘Prerequisites:

  • You must be an Admin with "access to account settings"πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» to access private apps in your Pipedrive account.
    ​

  • You must have the "Owner" πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ or "Admin" πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» role in fynk to access the integration section.

1. Create a private app in Pipedrive

Once you signed up for a Pipedrive account, follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1:

    • Log in to your Pipedrive Sandbox Account and click your avatar

    • Go to Developer Hub > Create App > Create Private App

    • Give it a name, e.g., β€œfynk”

  • Step 2:

  • Step 3:

    • Paste the Callback URL in your Pipedrive App Settings

    • Select the required scopes
      ​

    • Click "Save" and copy the generated Client ID and Client secret
      ​

  • Step 4:

    • Paste the Client ID and Client Secret into fynk

    • Click "Save"

    • Click "Allow/Install" when redirected and verify that Pipedrive fields now appear in fynk’s data-mapping templates
      ​

  • Step 5:

    • In your Pipedrive App Settings, switch to "Change to Live"

    • Click "Share App" and copy the install link provided

  • Step 6:

    • Open your Pipedrive production account in another browser or incognito window

    • Paste the install link and click "Allow/Install" to connect fynk to your live account
      ​

      πŸ‘‰ Alternative: If you’re already signed in to your production account, simply edit and save the Pipedrive integration in fynk. When prompted, click "Allow" to install directly.


πŸ“„ Use CRM Fields in Templates

1. Create or Edit a Template

In fynk, go to Templates and either Create New or edit an existing one.

2. Add & Link Dynamic Fields and Parties to CRM Data

  • Open the Data Mapping tab in the sidebar

  • Select Pipedrive as the source and map your fields (e.g., Contacts, Companies, Deals)

  • You can select a document name, otherwise the template name will be set automatically

  • Not all fields are always visible, depending on the selected data source (Contracts, Companies, Deals etc.)

  • In the Parties tab, link CRM contacts or companies as parties

3. Add Metadata (Optional)

Link metadata to CRM fields in the Metadata tab for exports and reporting purposes. This helps you map the data for external use when exporting documents, as well as when creating reports and analyses.


🧾 Generate Documents with Pipedrive Data

You can create documents that automatically pull customer-specific data directly from Pipedrive once your template is set up with the appropriate data fields.

  • Go to Documents > Create New

  • Choose a Pipedrive-linked template

  • Enter the relevant Pipedrive object name

  • Click Create Document – fynk will pull in the data automatically

In the General Settings tab of the document sidebar, click Reload Data to fetch the latest values from Pipedrive.
